Use this when an agent needs a cheap pre-send email/domain hygiene signal: practical email syntax validation, MX/Null-MX routing, A/AAAA fallback, SPF, DMARC, DNSSEC signals, a bounded posture score, and explicit limitations. Useful for CRM hygiene, lead preflight, signup validation, outbound-email safety checks, and domain mail-security posture. For domain-only tasks, /v1/domain/preflight returns DNS record inventory plus mail-security and RDAP intelligence; /v1/domain/rdap is the focused domain-age/expiry/registrar route. It does not perform SMTP mailbox existence checks and does not claim inbox delivery.
